August is about to end, we had raksha bandhan, independence day and janamashtami to celebrate and just after a month Diwali is around the corner. Everybody wants to look their best and different from others.

Here I am again to present a few ideas for both men & women to experiment with their looks. This post will be having 11 different ways to jazz up the look for ladies. My next post will be for men :)

1. Let go heavy, unmanageable duppattas

Instead go for ethnic jackets or stoles to add a bling to your outfit. You can even DIY your duppatta into a jacket with no sew or pins. Isn't this super easy and a breath of fresh air.

It is so difficult to choose between any one of them. All of them are so chic!

2. Bare Neck

This has been a style statement for very long time and is still ruling the charts. Wearing a neck piece sounds good as long as your outfit is simple and needs 'A thing' to make a mark!
But if the outfit is too bling it is better to go for a minimalist look, just a pair of  beautiful simple studded earrings or a bracelet. Accentuate your look with a watch and nice jutis.

3. Off-Shoulder

Showing off a bit with your neckline and shoulders is a trend for this season. Even the brides aren't behind in following this trend.
You can follow Anita Hassanandani on instagram if you are more of saree person, she really has a good taste for creative blouse designs.

4. Mom's Old Silk

Customise your mom's old saree into a long jacket or flared skirt.

 Long-slit Kurti / Maxi Dress

Flared Palazzo Pants. Aditi Rao Hydari's bottoms are one to die for! They are basic, straightforward yet so royal.

Mix N Match in Alia Style. Designer palazzo and simple plain shirt style kurtis are in this year.

5. Layered arms

These classic tunics are so  effortless yet slaying the look with some details like bell arms, trumpet sleeves in layers, etc. You must have spotted Sonam Kapoor making a mark by wearing oxfords with a saree. But the saree also which she was wearing, was no less! It too was elementary painless with a bell sleeves blouse.

These are what bell sleeves look like. You can custom make these by buying out the fabric you desire and just show the concept to your tailor.

6. Belt over the drape

This idea came to my mind when I came across this look from one of the TV serials actress on star plus. It was new and fresh. Not only does it adds detail but also keeps it in place. Do share your feedback on this. How much did you like this hack? This one was my favourite.

7. Ethnic Jumpsuit

We have worn rompers and jumpsuits ranging from casual to formal but have you seen ethnic jumpsuits?
If you can't find ethnic jumpsuit anywhere. Just visit chandni chowk once or go to the nearest cloth shop and buy the cloth of your preference like Silk, Georgette, and go to your tailor and instruct him according to your need.
Not only this option is cheap but you will end up with the design you always wanted.
You can make it heavy and sleeveless and pair it up with a jacket or full sleeves but amazing back designs.
You can even make use of point.4 here!

8. J.J. (Junk Jewelry)

Every Delhi girl's style guide includes J.J.
Pairing a simple black crop with Junk jewelry will never go outta fashion. Nowadays we are having so many new designs. It is cheap, modish and trend-setting always.

See how Kriti Sanon has added flare to her plain chaste saree dress by just a dash of silver jewellery. To pop it up more you could wear colorful bangles, chandbaalis, nosepins, thick silver anklet or colorful bohemian vintage neckpiece and some boldness to it.

 Is your Outfit too simple?

Let the colorful chunky accessories like bangles and earrings add the color to your plain outfit.
Let em do all the talking.
Flare up your face with a fierce bindi and dramatic eyes for the BOLD look.
Keep the make-up to the minimal. Focus on eyes, lips and spots.
Eyes- Apply eyeliner, eyelash curler and leave the lower lids.
Lips- Apply satin finish lip gloss for the sheen look.
A concealer and just a dab of blush / highlighter on cheeks for the glow.

And not to forget the Nosepins

9. When you got that BACK !!

Round deep neck back designs are all out of fashion. Try these new mania in the form of window and new slits.

10. Trendy Bottoms- The 'Dhoti Salwars'

11. 'Pagadi'- The Turban Style

You can match your outfit to your dupatta or stole and make it a head gear instead. Glam it up with big modish earrings from kalachowk . Follow them on instagram. They have got a great out of the box collection. This will really make stand out of the crowd without doing much.
